Will this work if you plug it into a TV's USB port?

I actually use these for quick reflex games with my Bose Ultra and Px7s2e. It has very low latency if your headphones support AptX Adaptive, under anywhere from 55-90ms.

Very usable for gaming, but just make sure it turns Pink for low latency.

Crazy you mentioned that. I just received the px7 s2 from the recent deal and noticed their poor latency. I use my laptop docked with a monitor and wired headphones but the px7s2 and this dongle will work great for travel.

I think that would depend on what OS your TV uses. I recently tried my gaming headset that uses a USB dongle with an LG TV with WebOS and it didn't work. However, it did work when I tried it with my Shield TV with Android.

The Momentum 4 doesn't need this dongle, however, if you want very low latency and good quality sound while gaming, you will need this dongle as the BT that the Momentum 4 comes with is slower. Just make sure the dongle has the pink light on while gaming for low latency mode.

I mainly got it to get AptX Adaptive from my computer, smartphone, and tablet. My phone only supports the plain version of AptX. Same for the tablet and the PC. Otherwise the Momentum 4 or any headphones that support AptX HD, AptX Adpative will just fall back to the regular Aptx.

For this price I though is was worth it. There are other dongles out there that support more codecs and devices, but this is a nice price for this older version.

Not meant for consoles, multiple people noted that consoles don't recognize it properly. I own a BTD 700 and honestly it's best used strictly for listening to higher resolution music through Bluetooth from your PC or Apple device, not entirely sure if it improves sound quality for all Android phones. This adds too much latency to videos or gaming unless you use low latency mode which is no better than connecting via normal Bluetooth imo.

The Momentum should have an audio port if you're willing to wire to your controller for sound. It'll sound better with a wired connection and it shouldn't drain the battery, at least it doesn't on my Accentum Plus. Or look at a PS5 audio Bluetooth adapter like this one https://a.co/d/0hKJuJU

I don't think there is a really good Xbox audio Bluetooth adapter that I am aware of.

In 4 one... good to have a spare that is name brand and better than my laptop's built in bluetooth.
