I'll give this a try later but my local subways weren't participating in these codes for Jan. I think they're trying to rely only on the every 4th sub free. Min wage here is pretty high, your price anchoring is kinda funny imo though, should compare it to mid 2000s "$5 footlong" instead

Honestly, this deal out of the two $6.99 or $12.99; this would be more worth it. I am on a complete boycott, especially since I am getting Jersey Mike's subs for free playing their NHL game.
Note for anyone wanting to know if it is budget friendly.
Price of a footlong 1965 was $0.49 on $1.25/hr. Today that would be $2.84 on $7.25/hr.
But if you live in a high cost of living state, a sub would be affordable when proportioned, $16.90/hr. is CA's (as of the minimum wage increase this year), so a footlong would be good when price maxed at $6.61. $12.99/2 = $6.495 each
For minimum wage states, it is a bad deal unless you make at least $16.65/hr. Just my opinion.
Guys, I am not trying to lie to you. Be informed before you use these deals.
