That's a solid deal. If I didn't already have 2 ratchets in the M12 ecosystem, I'd be all over this. Might still cave and get them anyways. We'll see.

I'm in the same boat. I have other ridgid tools and this is pretty good at $75 a ratchet. I use my milwaukee m12 ratchets alot and would be nice to have some in the ridgid ecosystem. I wanted the extended reach 1/4 and 3/8 ridgid ratchet deal but it's been sold out.

I just need the 1/4 inch. Truth is I don't use these much but would really like to.

This is tempting.

Who has bought this that does a lot of wrenching on their vehicles?

It seems like I might be kicking myself later for not buying the extended reach but this is a good price for the two. Could also just buy one extended reach and use adapters.

Yeah this is my problem as well... generally head straight for standard wrenches. In the time it takes to get a battery and the tool the bolt is already off. Smilie

Ridgid battery is too big for engine bay. Sold my M12 ratchet and got the M12 Insider instead, that way I won't need a separate extended reach

For me it is more about practicality. It almost never seems to fit where I am working.

I agree. I had one of these and it always seemed to not fit - but not by much.

I bought the extended reach version and would say I can now use it on 80% of my projects.

Are these ratchets reactionless?
