I had total Wireless in the past and when I left them I told them I would share my story. Total Wireless stole from me, okay they attempted to steal from me.

I had four phones on total Wireless they all joined at different times so I paid four different times of the month. Total Wireless consolidated the four payments into one, in a new single once a month payment plan. It's fine it's what other companies have done, if they do it right. To do it right they would either needed to prorate my bill so I'm not paying for the same days that I had already paid for, or just eat the cost. They chose to make me pay for the same days that I'd already paid for. For example I already paid on the first for the entire month then on the 15th they charged me for an entire month again. When I called customer service the only thing they could do was apologize, I even got apologized to by a manager. During that call I handed my wife the phone and I called my credit card company explain the situation and got a credit back to my card. After that call with the credit card company my wife was still being apologized to by total Wireless. I promised three things to the guy apologizing to me. Number one I will get my money back, number two I will leave their company, and number three I will share my story with as many people that'll listen. I fulfilled my promise.

Also I recommend staying away from this company unless you're technical because basically there's no customer service or support, so you're on your own.

My point is if you get this service you are on your own.

Don't do it. Total wireless is a scam! They dealers are unregulated. They too stole from me and are refusing to help me because the dealer used my phone before activating it and my account was flagged as being fraudulent. I paid in advanced for 3 months and they canceled after 2. Stay away

My number is currently with them, the phone is also bought from them. I want to keep my number and get the discount and also keep using my device Big Grin.
Can I port out my number to another carrier, then port back in again with another unlocked phone, then transfer the esim back to my current phone?

If you have purchased phone from them then you have to stay with TW for 60'days.If you have completed 60'days then you move out to US mobile for free 30'days trial & then come back to TW with byod but it will be too much hassle to keep maintain account number & pin . US mobile is little cheaper then TW & you will get Romining data while traveling to Canada Mexico & other part of world

If you bought the phone from TW you can NEVER go on the BYOD deal with that phone, even switch after. Not sure where you get this info but this has been the case for years.

I use this for a work line, deprioritization can get pretty noticeable during large events but it's been fine otherwise. The real deal here is the +$10/mo for an unlimited tablet line, which you qualify for with this voice line.
How do you get the unlimited tablet line for $10 please help

Make sure you're logged in to your Total Wireless account OR if you're a new customer, add your voice line + the tablet line in the same cart. You'll see the price drop to $10: https://www.totalwireless.com/m/plans/tablet

I just left them for Google Fi after a year. Way too often data was super slow on the supposedly non deprioritized plan to the point of being unusable.

Also their CS is really weird. They'll insist on calling you even when it's 11pm and you explicitly ask them not to.

Already much happier on T-Mobile/Fi.

I have already done this that's the reason but instead of going TW I moved to US mobile because US mobile has option to select network carrier. I have very bad experience with coverage with TW even though they are using Verizon network .

That's why I have Hulu?? I noticed it inside the Disney app and I couldn't remember signing up for Hulu. So yeah I guess it does.

I signed up for this a few months ago. First I tested it alongside a postpaid Verizon plan and they both hit 950mbps near a Verizon tower so pretty happy with that. The Disney premium plan went through without a problem. I only have one complaint and that is the spam calls. I had no idea how effective the Verizon call filter was for the 12 years I had them. As soon as I switched to total I was inundated with spam calls. I've downloaded many spam blocking apps and none of them work. There is a supposed total wireless spam blocking feature but the text code to get to it doesn't take you to any spam blocking app. Fortunately the spam calls have slowed down to 4-5 a day but it was bad at first.

Overall I am quite pleased with the service. The price is outstanding speed is great. Haven't been deprioritized yet and I shouldn't be since I picked the highest plan. This is tempting to sign up for again for my backup phone. With the lesser plan of course.

I can never get on board with these because the Visible plans all offer unlimited hotspotting and I need that for the kids devices when in the car and such. Also handy to be able to offer to anyone any time they need it.
