Pen cup version from the original post: 3 colors, no dimmer, single 2-way pivot point between the head of the lamp and the top of the arm that stands up from the base.
Non-cup version on same page: 4 colors, 5-level dimmer, same 2-way pivot head but adds an angle adjustment at the bottom of the post that attaches to the base.
Both versions have the same number of outlets and ports. Most of the complaints about the lamp being easily tipped over seem to be about the pen cup version, which has a smaller base.
