I own the 7k. I researched between the 6K, 7K and 8K. Amazon has the 7K for $1997. If you get it with your chase amazon card, you get an extra ten percent off. This is what I did and got this TV for under $1800. The 7K blows away the 6K. Just look at the specs or go see it in the store. There is just no comparison and well worth an extra couple of hundred dollars.

Cheaper than Black Friday and free installation?!? I think I might have to jump on this. I replaced a couple of my old TVs with the QM5K and have been super impressed. Been looking for a deal on the 98 and was debating on getting the Costco QM6K, but their installers are such a mixed bag.

People don't care about image quality. Are you aware that most people watch their TVs on vivid mode? They want a bright, oversaturated image and they have no idea that they're watching everything with motion smoothing cranked way up and their brightness setting at 100.

This, and most people can't tell good tv from bad tv UNLESS they compared them side by side like in Bestbuy when the salesman trying to push the most expensive one to you

Easy way to decide: this if you care about decent local dimming but don't care about specular highlights. 7K if you care about specular highlights in dark or moderately lit rooms. 8K if you care about specular highlights in a bright room (or have no budget limits).
