I've always wanted one of these but could never justify one; especially given the cost and my extensive toolbox collection.

Someone who has lots of tools; sell me on this.

I'm not sure where this really fits in a shop outside of a gimmick. It is small and would keep tools close but shops usually aren't really that big that it becomes something this solves..

Note: have not used, could very much be wrong, please prove me wrong

Seems like this would be great to store tools that I only use while sitting down.
I'm not sure what those tools are though.

Brake job, oil change, suspension, exhaust. Anything on the lower end of a car.

I still believe it is too expensive for what it offers.

Imagine wheeling around 400 lb everywhere you move... I'd rather a z creeper and a separate mobile toolbox nearby

Not sure how this is a Slick Deal as this is the same everyday price as the WEN branded rolling tool seat which comes with magnetic trays.

I have the HF clone that probably cost me $50. I use mine indoors as just a nice low place to sit while doing tasks. Quite nice for building furniture. I play guitar on it. I've also used it while rotating my tires and doing brake jobs but I find myself getting up half a dozen times anyway to get a tool anyway.

Not a permanent tool storage for me, more like just holding stuff that's task dependent.

Probably good for temporary jobs where u need to keep your tools/nuts and bolts from getting kicked under God knows where and not able to find, then transfer tools back to larger box when done.

The weak spot on these things is always the casters. It's kind of a good idea but I can see it getting torn up on my driveway.
