Community Reviews

Apple Watch Series 11 is drawing interest as a solid everyday smartwatch, with the bigger 46mm model standing out for noticeably better battery life than older Series 7 and Series 8 watches. Cellular adds convenience for fitness and going phone free, and the stainless steel and sapphire crystal versions are praised for staying scratch free. The main drawbacks are the extra monthly cellular fee, the sport band only configuration at this price, and the lack of Sport Loop or Nike band options through authorized retailers. A practical upgrade if battery life and durability matter most.

Tempting, but my Series 4 Cellular in stainless steel is still somehow working fine lol. I'll wait for the re-design even if it's still a few years down the line

You haven't been getting software and security updates for that for two years. "Works"

I still use my Series 3 everyday and somehow the battery is holding up. Thanks to the previous poster I started looking into the possibilities of security issues.

Oh the hilarious irony of you smugly saying that with your little sarcasm of "works" in quotation marks too while Apple literally just released the watchOS 10.6.2 update today for the Series 4. Try again.

No, there is not a damn thing factually wrong about what I said.
Your watch will *never* see watchOS 11, that's why you didn't get it. 10.6.2 is also not a security update. Your watch is still EOL no matter how much you want to insist otherwise. It was a simple certificate update only. It's still credible to Apple to do a thing that won't break iCloud services, sure, but you are *literally no longer getting security patches*... "Works".

10.6.2 is indeed a software update, so, yes, there literally is a damn thing factually wrong about what you said. Keep digging yourself into that hole though, you're already this far in, why admit being wrong now?

OoOoOo, my watch "will never see OS 11", now all of a sudden it's totally useless, according to TexasSooner, the one holy voice who gets to decide that it's the end of a life for... a watch. A watch. Which still tells time, which provides notifications, which still does literally everything an Apple Watch is supposed to do, and more. It *Works* perfectly fine, and doesn't need your blessing to do so. But, you'll pick on "security patches" on a friggin watch lmaoo. Not on a phone, not on a laptop, not on a work computer... a watch. I guarantee I can keep using this thing for another few years until the battery completely craps out because probably no watch in history has been hacked and completely ruined someone's life like you love to make it seem.

I have a Series 4 that generally works fine for what I need. Tempted to just replace the battery in that or get an SE. After several years I decided to cancel the cellular too. It's nice, but not for ATT's $15/mo. That's ridiculous on top of already paying for phone service.

I'm using a family members 40mm series 5. It's fine for fitness tracking and does have cellular. Battery health is 80% so once it hits 79% I can do trade in for refurbished through Apple for out of warranty for $100. I'd prefer larger size so may just use that money towards a new model and bigger. I regret mot getting the series 10 46mm gps+ cellular for $279 around Black Friday form Walmart. But I didn't want rose gold and plum color sport loop and which I could easily changed or covered
