Find a new FE 5070 under MSRP and report back.

We are in February of 2026, the full RAMpocalypse is happening. 5070 TI's are now firmly at $1k and up, along with $1400+ 5080 cards. Would be great to have a time machine but these prices are only going in one direction right now, and getting this at MSRP is worth posting. Especially because Best Buy (the only official retailer of FE cards besides nvidia direct) does not have these in stock and who knows when they will.

msrp are a scam anyway buy a used ai chip when open ai goes bankrupt for 99% off. since they over paid by a huge margin.

Best to go 5080 or 5090 for 4k settings. Good luck pricing those out. You can also go the smart path and avoid Nvidia all together and grab a 7900 XTX from Microcenter if they still have those for $750 that is.

You won't because you can't. This is one of only two MSRP-priced 5070's you can buy online and have shipped to your door, the other being no-frills PNY model.

You're probably not going to see 5070's under $550 again this year, and when these are gone, you're only going to find AIB models going for close to $700.

The point of this thread is to alert people who may be looking for a mid-range card who are frustrated that the 9070 is now over $700, and the 5070 TI is close to or over $1k.

Funny, I said the same thing when I saw a WD 2TB SN5000 for $109 in early November. But I bought it anyway because I heard memory prices were going up. Now that same SSD can't be purchased for less than $300. But hey, maybe GPUs won't be affected?!

PC parts picker reports 5070 Founders Edition has been for $549 from August '25 through Jan 30 '26. Price hadn't changed in September according to Slickdeals history. Inventory has been limited through this period. As of today Best Buy has 5070 Founders Edition for $549 with no availability.
