I had an Anycubic Kobra 3 for about a year but found it to be VERY temperamental. I spent so much time babysitting it (and had a high failure rate - prints not adhering, etc) and when my brother in law bought a printer I warned him "it's a lot of trial and error and dialing in the exact settings for the filament and the print."

He bought a Bambu and literally just clicks "print" and hasn't had a failure yet.

I read somewhere else... buy Anycubic if you want to spend all of your time with the 3d printer, buy Bambu if you want to spend all your time with the 3d prints.

We just sold ours and upgraded to a P1S and yes it's more expensive but it's amazing the difference in experience (and lack of stress. My brother in law has the A1 or A1 mini and has had a great experience as well.

I personally just didn't have the patience to become an expert every time I wanted to print something. Was worth the upgrade for me.

Just a heads up that the Kobra X is supposed to start shipping this month at a price of $279.

Some key differences are that this printer has the ace pro unit and the Kobra X has the ace pro 2 unit and they aren't interchangeable. The Kobra X has a different filament management system that will have faster color changes and less purge waste. There are clearly other differences, but I wanted to point out that a new printer is coming (then again, isn't that always the case)?

I bought this in a deal from few months back. Here are my thoughts

Quality wise its not the best because its a bed slinger. You'll find much better prints quality with core xy like AD5M or AD5X
There is issue with bed adhesion, but you need to invest in BIQU cryogrip built plate, its a game changer for any 3D printer.
ACE is a plus as it dries and keeps them dry when filaments are not in use. You can print desiccant holder to keep the spools dry.
The printer is mostly assembled from the factory but make sure to tighten all the screws. Mine were slightly loose and quality greatly improved after tightening them (still nothing like a core xy)
Don't even bother to replace the nozzle, its permanently glued. Buy the cheap nozzle+hotend ceramic heater assembly and you will be much happy (on first time use, slightly coat an inch or so of the filament with mineral oil and it forms a protective nonstick layer inside the nozzle). Clogs are mostly due to bad filament quality, uneven size or moisture.

Just got the deal for 199. Tried all day yesterday but the special popup showed up today. I bought this combo about 6 months ago and its worked flawless the whole time. I ended up giving it to my nephews since its so reliable. Multicolor/Dryer/reliable at this price I couldn't pass it up.

I was able to purchase for $199 as well just now. After 3 days and refreshing 20x a day, trying multiple browsers.
So if you haven't had luck prior, I would definitely try again now.

Kind of regret grabbing the Flashforge AD5X now seeing this. Despite coreXY theoretical should have better accuracy, realistically these newer bed slingers like A1 are optimized enough such that they perform just as well for most prints.

I'm just waiting until they realize that putting a scanner on the 3D printing set up is genius much like an all-in-one printer having a copier

The FF is likely significantly faster.

Unfortunately, I'm getting the same. I've tried it on two different laptops, a phone, and several browsers for each. Lowest I get is 241.

Say Bambu all you want but you will pay significantly more and have less control over what you can print. I am pretty happy with my Kobra, and have had no significant issues that were not my error.

I impulse bought this on Black Friday at the same price never having owned a printer. I have over 280 hours printed, it's going right now also. I love this thing, this is the sign you are looking for

Showed up at $241 for me and after refreshing 5 min later it's now showing as $293... anyone else still able to replicate today (on 2/5)?
