This price crazy! I have the insta360 4, but looking to have 3 360 cameras total. At this price, do I just get three of these or stay in the Insta ecosystem??? I get good results with the Insta.

Does anyone have experience with the quality of footage from the DJI? I am using it in more professioal settings.

I was wondering how the 360 compares with the pocket3. Here's what Google said:

Key Differences:

Image Quality & Performance: The Osmo Pocket 3 offers sharper, more detailed video, particularly in low-light, thanks to its superior, dedicated 1-inch sensor.

Versatility & Creativity: The Osmo 360 excels in capturing everything around the user, offering unique, impossible-to-get angles, including third-person, drone-like perspectives.

Stabilization & Handling: The Pocket 3 uses a physical, mechanical 3-axis gimbal for stabilization, which provides a more natural, cinematic look, while 360 cameras rely on digital, software-based stabilization (e.g., Horizon Steady).

Form Factor: The Pocket 3 is a "grab-and-go" vlogging tool, while 360 cameras are generally more rugged and better suited for active scenarios, often offering waterproof, submersible, and durable designs.

Editing Workflow: The Pocket 3 provides "finished," high-quality footage directly, while 360 cameras require a "reframing" step in editing software.

Which One is Right for You?

Choose the Pocket 3 if: You prioritize image quality, shoot vlogs, do cinematic storytelling, or need superior performance in low light.

Choose the Osmo 360 if: You are an action sports enthusiast, want to record everything without thinking about framing, need a waterproof device, or want the creative freedom to reframe shots later.

I bought one last November for $412, and it is AWESOME. I use it to record my bike rides, and I also have a car suction mount to catch video from drives. The video quality is amazing. And it also does a great job with low-light, which is where my previous GoPro was very lacking.
This is a great price for a great device.

I really want to upgrade from my GoPro Max. How's editing compared to GoPro?

I bought the adventure combo when it was $455. I returned and got the X5. I say video quality for both are identical except at night where DJI becomes better. Changed my mine and decided to get the X5 because of the invisible dive case pro. I don't think DJI will have one.

I'm a DJI fanboy, got a bunch of their Drones, Action Cam 4 and the Pocket 3. But for 360 video, I went with the Insta360 X5 Costco deal during Black Friday mostly because the inability to get DJI care for United States folks if the lens cracks. For Insta360 X5 easy to swap the lens and get their Insta360 Care. Lastly, the software is just way more polished after 5 iterations.

Thanx. I was wondering about the software. Insta is easy for me now. Took a while for me to learn. I hear the DJI is sharper, but when I watch youtube, It doesn't seem to be much of a noticeable difference. I feel like Insta may change their sensor for the X6 to keep up. The low light on the DJI does better for sure!!

I went with the insta360 for the replaceable lens. These are easy to scratch because of how the lens bulge out and it just seems like a lot less stress since DJI has so many issues in the U.S. if their next iteration has replaceable lens, I will definitely by it. I heard the software is not good yet also.

Insta360 has really great video editing software for 360 videos. How's the DJI software?
