Wage conscious deal
I made mistake last time. At Dunkin, during 1948, a doughnut was $0.05. Today, that would be $0.90 per doughnut on $7.25/hr. If each doughnut was the same price (and they did not discount it off because of bulk pricing- dozen); the total would come out to $10.80.
Good deal OP!
I wanted this calculation to be more tailored to Krispy Kreme and so I actually looked up a dozen doughnuts priced in my area, $15.49, one glazed is $1.99. So one would receive a discount of $0.70 per doughnut. Needless to state, whichever figure one uses, this is a good deal.
