AI review
It's really scary what information people will gobble up (and spread) just because it is presented in an appealing way. The source, content, etc doesn't matter...just the format and digestible (dumbed down) nature of AI content seems to be the long hanging fruit so many default to. Which normally follows the format of; junk in -> junk out.

I have this scanner. It works well for creating textured 3d models, but does not have the precision for creating 3D printable models or for reverse engineering.

Wait - so you're saying scanning and making prints of items isn't useful for this? That's its primary purpose, and the whole reason I'd buy one.

Maybe if you're just looking to make organic shapes. I tried to make some basic car parts and it was insufficient. Ended up with a Revopoint MetroX.

What about desktop figures? I was thinking of using it to scan old Disney figurines and reprint them.

Yeah, I do assume that. Trying to justify the purchase here. LOL.
