have been using the 10.1 that i got for $69 at work. the only minor situation i ran into with this is 12.1 is that it refuses to connect to the hidden ssid on a netgear router, but connected to eero right away. experienced this with an older tablet too.

Noticed one of the speakers doesn't produce sound. Not sure if it's a common issue or not but might be worthwhile just confirming all 4 sspeakers are working for those who bought one...

Unless you will be using headphones 99% of the time.
3 out of 4 speakers would work for me, as long as everything else is GOOD!

Well, it depends, you get a bigger screen, higher resolution, pure Android experience (version 14), speedwise is a tad faster but not faster than Fire Max 11, but the extra ram may make a difference in some scenarios, 128GB storage that it is way faster than the one in Fire Max 11 - I tested!, battery life should be at least similar, wifi 6, no 3.5mm stereo jack but solvable with an adapter, 5 MP front camera and 8 MP rear camera, 20W charging, the rest is identical.

There exist some small hairs on the screen, just cleaned them and it seems good.

Updates are coming one by one. Near all of them are less than 20MB.

Seems to be a good buy, the aluminum body feels good.

FEDEX just brought mine. Box was fine and Tablet seems NEW. Love it, it's working through all the Updates now..

Performance seems amazing at this price point. Looks like it got security updates through November 5, 2025.

When use reddit or camera app, it will force screen to vertical. I have to unlock the rotation then to fix the issue after using the apps. Rather annoying sw issue, so I use Reddit with browser instead.

The background light will automatically become stronger if screen turns to more white. I have disabled autobrightness, power saving and other normal related features, but still no solution for this issue. This is the only pain for me to use it.

Bluetooth disconnected once when connected to my fixed location speaker. Since I don't always use Bluetooth, I am not sure the frequency of the issue.

Got mine today and it looks unused. Updating now but this will do nicely. I don't know what charging standard it uses but it will only fast charge with included charger. My OnePlus charger and another one from my drawer only registers as slow charge.
