I have one of the regular and then one of the UV versions. Does the pro really add that much more that justifies the much higher price... Especially when the non-pro versions go on sale pretty often?

Is the UV good? Light strong enough to make it useful for some casual search for things that glow, bugs, etc.

I initially loved this light; the UV output was perfect for my uranium glass collection and scorpion hunting around the house. However, the quality didn't hold up—the UV dimmed significantly after just three weeks. While Wurkkos support was initially responsive and promised a replacement, I've been stuck in a 4-month cycle of 'back and forth' with zero results. They have now gone silent. Buyer beware: the warranty support is non-existent.
