This is a really well made, usable flash light. $47 is a little nuts - probably closer to $20 or $22 on Amazon. Even at $20, it's a great light.

Failed both the water resistance and drop test in this video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B...8go&t=457s
Comes with a non-replacable 450mAh battery which is really low capacity for a EDC flashlight. I've read that the switch is finnicky and people have indicated issues with light activation when using its built in magnet.

Pro tip for a $11 item: don't throw in the water or drop it.

Would rather get the similar form factor Klaus E8 swivel head flashlight. Versus the G5 the E8 has double the lumens, double the battery capacity and similar water resistance (IP6). Additionally the E8 has a very functional auxillary light (both white and red light; also can strobe) which can be very desirable when jogging/biking. I could care less that the G5 as a RGB light. That's not something I would ever use when using the G5 as a EDC flashlight.
The E8 is $25 on Amazon and you get it next day (unlike Aliexpress which will probably take like 3 weeks). Also if you don't like the E8, since it's from Amazon just return it for a full refund.

FWIW - I've been carrying one for months. Its good when you need a "better" light than your phone flashlight. Dimmable main light, RGB is a gimmick. It fits in the jeans watch pocket perfectly. Charge maybe once a month or when I remember. Its USB-C so its not an issue. Clip works well, the pivot head is cool when you need to set it down, magnet works. Haven't dropped it. So I guess if you're prone to dropping things, don't buy it?
When I'm actually doing work under a car or something I have headlamps.

I've had mine for over a year now. It lives on the strap of my backpack that gets tossed all over the place. It's also been exposed to rain too many times to count. It's been a solid little light.

If you want a flashlight that can survive immersion, get a diving light. If you want to base your buying decisions on some self-appointed expert in a tank top and ballcap doing YT video review in his garage, go for it.
