MSRP was $70 for this controller and while it is very good, the only issue I have with it are the face buttons. The dye used to make the green face button makes the plastic really brittle. There are multiple reviews/posts online stating how their green face button cracked in half with mild usage. They're also a bit mushy compared to the Ultimate 2.
A friend of mine, who is the kindest and most gentle of souls (doesn't have gamer rage, very careful with his gear), broke his green face button twice. Fortunately, 8bitdo sent him no cost replacements under warranty on both occasions, but some people prefer a product that won't break versus excellent customer service.
The low latency USB receiver doesn't work with gyro or the L4/R4 buttons. The slower D-Input mode that supports everything is about the same latency as their older controllers.
I almost bought one last deal but I'm going to hold off because of that and see how well the Steam controller is reviewed when it comes out.
