These are definitely strong enough for most applications. I own dozens and I watched 300lb man stand on one with zero issues.

I remember when I bought these 10 years ago, I got them for $21 each, times sure have changed... I use them for Christmas decor, they're a bit flimsy, so I don't use them for anything substantial and when they stack they can still be rocked meaning not that stable IMHO.
