Haven't tried the color, I've been happy with the black ones. Lockable (two locks would be needed) to the extent of keeping the little kiddies out, won't stop a thief.

I have a few of these. They're a good size. The latches have a tendency to shear off or break. If you have a 3d printer, printing replacement latches is a possibility (there are stls out there).

I don't think anything made out of plastic is capable of deferring a thief, one smack with hammer would disable most of the "security". Even some metal ones are built so scrappy that cordless grinder is all you need to "open" them.

Unless I need the security of the contents being hidden, I'm keeping it from light degrading the contents, or I'm using it for one item like a comforter, I have switched to clear containers for everything. You can see the contents without digging and don't end up spending 2 hours looking for something you knew was in the first box you dug thru. I'm still waiting on tool boxes/bags to catch up.

I have a couple of these. I find the 14 gallon the most convenient to throw in the back of the truck or use for gear storage. I use one for straps and recovery stuff. I have another I throw my hunting gear in. I think these are great for their price.

they also hold up to UV for a long time. I've had one sitting outside in Ohio for 2 years now.
