These companies need to lower their price by 30% to take up for the loss of the tax rebate, then add a sale once in a while, otherwise they are going to continue to sit on inventory and go bankrupt!
I have the DPU, and would like to upgrade to the DPU-X, But no way will I do it at their prices!
Also, the SHP2/DPU bundle was an extra $1,000, the SHP3 is an extra $2,500 bundled with the DPU-X.
I know the SHP3 has more circuits, but not an additional $1,500 worth!
The DPU and DPU-X both use the same batteries. There s no difference!

I predict that DIY kits/ECO-WORTHY will get hungrier and will continue to offer better prices and take the win at the beginning, while larger companies will sit on their throne and not adjust prices, until they find out too late. Just my 2c

I agree, I had shp2 and DPU setup last year and end of last year decide to upgrade last minute to SHP3 + DPUx. I could only justify it due to the tax credit though. This setup i believe should be 7500 max at this point in time factoring in 30% tax credit being gone.

Only $500 more than a comparable Ultra non-X. Expensive, but can't get back in time to 2025.
