Kingroon PETG brand prints clean but the colors are muted in real life, not bright and vibrant.

The gray looks 99% similar to the silver. They should have made it darker. The silver isn't shiny like a silk.

They have Bambu Studio filament presets online which makes these easy to print.

Always don't understand how their tax is calculated. The white is $64, but tax is like $9.80, where in bay area is only like $10.75 which should be no more than $7 tax.

I've bought probably 70 rolls of Kingroon filament over the past few months and all of it has printed flawlessly on my Bambu X1C and H2D machines. Happy to keep stocking up.

Tariffs are also baked into their fees & charges. That's why we see elevated rates.

Holy smokes - you have gone through 70 rolls of filament in a matter of months?? I'm new to 3d printing and that sounds like a lot of filament to go through Smilie
I've gotten spoiled by the RFID Bambu filament spools but this seems like a fantastic deal on a lot of filament so probably worth manually inputing spool specks.

I'm new to this too but it looks like (depending on the filament) there is a need to store some filaments different than other in order to control the moisture, control the heat/cool, etc. Some filaments can take on moisture from the air (for example) which can impact the quality of the print or even the ability for the filament to load/feed/unload in some cases.

I've used these on my Kobra 3 v2. It really helps to do the calibration steps. Got a bunch of gray PETG this time, as I've found i really like it for my prototyping/home projects.

Some brands are sealed better than others, some filaments are shipped "wet" from the factory, i.e. they were made in humid conditions. I've never had an issue with Kingroon, it all prints out of the box. ~14 spools so far. I've also printed some 8 year old Zyltech (used to be cheap) that came out just fine. If you notice the slight sound of snap/crackle/pop, or see little bubbles in your print, the filament just needs to be dried in a dehumidifier at far less than the melting point (this can take several hours to a couple days). If the filament is brittle, that's also a sign of moisture getting into it; I've saved spools like that by drying them. I've never had a filament go bad, but there are some poorly made filaments. Surprisingly none of those bad filaments were the cheap ones.
