Young children should NOT be lifting weights (based on discussions with doctors of physical therapy). Let them develop naturally by playing like children. What a terrible product.

Under 12 years of age children should not be lifting weights. Body weight exercises only and very light weights around the onset of puberty. One reason being that their bones are still developing and lifting excessive weight can cause premature closing of growth plates (limits full size potential of bone development). If there is a parent out there considering this "toy" a more effective and safe means of muscle development would be to focus on clean nutrition for you little ones and keep them active and playing.

That theory I believe has been debunked.

this is the type of thing i would have loved to have in the garage when i was a kid and would watch my dad and his friends work out. i guess according to some of these posters kids shouldnt play sports or anything until their in highschool
