Good deal, especially with the extended warranty. A Costco shop card is about as good as cash to me. I shop there every week or two.

Tip: Order online and pickup in store. Your tax may be lower that way. The way they calculate local sales tax online saved me an extra 50 bucks.

You can test this in the cart first to see if it works for you.

i may bite on the 55" C5. I need a 55" and $1020 is a decent deal with the 5 year warranty. with OLED i'll want to get a 5 year for whatever i buy

I was able to get a 77 C5 from Electronic Express today for $1775 all in (inclusive of taxes and free shipping). Greentoe currently has, for me, a buy it now deal for $1,699 (but they charge tax) making the final price into the $1800s for me. I also received a counter for $1,799, no tax. I am happy with what I got, but I recognize there is no warranty included with the TV (outside of standard manufacturer).

Greentoe is normally tax included price. Didn't realize that was not always the case, with the buy now deals for instance. Interesting.

Did you buy from Electronic Express directly? Not seeing that price on the website, unless you had a promo code or something?

It was on eBay. I made an offer. It was rejected. Then a little while later I got a notification from eBay "suggesting" I bid around $1640 to get my offer accepted; which I did.
