I went to Best Buy in person because the chat agent kept saying no, and when one finally said yes they said they'll only do it for the same zip code as the Sam's Club, which was 6 hours away from me. I went in store to Best Buy and tried the price match and they were willing, but the system would not let them. The sysem kept denying the price match because the price was too low and less than cost. I even called the manager over, they really wanted to do it but the system literally wouldn't let them. Unfortunate.

Even cheap tablets have OLED under $200. Why this didn't come with OLED screen is bizarre and leads me to believe that Nintendo's only goal was to upsell a future OLED version of this. Absolute greed.

Whoa! Calm down there. After 7 months the switch 2 has surpassed Wii U lifetime sales by 3 million lol. It's anything other than a flop. It's even outpacing the original switch. The problem is the original switch had a massive boost during the pandemic. That is just not going to be feasible to match. But even if Switch 2 reaches 75 million lifetime sales half the original that's still a success.

I don't really see the ds and then 2ds/3ds as different systems, just hardware refreshes like this. So basically they got a switch concept design that is still selling more units. just add up all the switch untis sold together. but if you do that, you start to see some of this "record switch sales stuff" vs other consoles is a bit artificial. because if you add up all the ds systems, it's not so far off from switch 1 sales. switch 1 and 2 will take the record when added together, but what do you expect there are more people in the world buying these things. which makes the ps2 really come off as looking like the biggest hit really. So many regions/emerging markets these days that didn't exist then.

wow is 374.91 no prob at my closest, for pickup or even free delivery as soon as today. that would be 405 after tax.

still dont think i want it. i know everyone will disagree but mkw as the pack in just holds minus appeal for me. mario kart games are just so boring imo.

plus the sw2 itself has such poor battery life and allegedly a screen with smearing problems (altho i doubt i'd notice tbh) and virtually no software that takes advantage of it's power yet either (not gonna play ubisoft woke wars, already own cyberpunk on Series X etc). a lazy effort by nintendo honestly.

i'll actually defend Nintendo on most aspects of sw2 hardware, 12gb of ram is generous etc,, but the small 20wh battery is a joke. on teardowns it's literally a smartrphone size battery in all empty space. where other devices cram battery into every inch of space. needed to be at least a respectable 40wh battery. original steam deck had a 40 wh battery and a low price.

shame i dont think you get the 5% back with one pay card and wal mart plus that you do at proper wal mart.
