Apart from the Network connectivity, the Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE Wi-Fi X870E AORUS ELITE Wi-Fi wins in every other category. 1st of all, you ar getting the chipset advantage with X870E vs B850 which gives you better expansions and I/O capavilities.
Both has 4 M.2 slots but in Gigabyte, 3 are PCIe Gen 5 vs only 2 in MSI. You also get dual USB4 40 Gbps Type-C port with alt DP, both front and Back with Gigabyte, which is completely missing in MSI.
VRM design wise, Gigabyte comes with 16+2+2 Twin Digital (60A DrMOS) design vs 14+2+1 Duet Rail (80A SPS) in MSI. Only advantage MSI has is the 5 Gbe Lan port vs 2.5G in Gigabyte.

i just picked up a 9800X3D bundle from Microcenter last month... for me, the IO features of the X870E are meaningless, things I don't care about and will never use. more than 2 full speed NVMe ports and USB4 aren't worth the extra cost to me... i'm honestly unsure what people even use USB for these days that they care about the extra speed, maybe raw video transfer or something? i'm not a content creator, so it's a big who cares for me.

just decide what you need and care about, then speed your money in the area you'd like... i rather saved the the cash and put it towards my 580OC.

p.s.
a G for what you get here is insane to me!!!
the mouse certainly doesn't push it into "I gota have it!!!" territory Wink

You know right, that Ram prices are still increasing and gonna be increasing for another year at least. So, it may be ending up even more than the curent deal, rather than being $200 cheaper.
