The Boston Marathon is a race. But it's also a goal, and a training plan and all the days it stays on your mind before the big one. The Adizero Boston 12 Shoes are built for mid- to long-distance running. They bring a race-day feel to training with a propulsive feel that comes from the glass-fiber infused ENERGYRODS 2.0, which limit energy loss underfoot. They're fast, but that does not come at the cost of durability — the midsole layers ultra-light LIGHTSTRIKE PRO cushioning with a new version of durable LIGHTSTRIKE 2.0 EVA.

These are women's and a newer version, but hopefully, these hold up better than the men's version of these that I had of the Adizero Boston 10. I run about 15-20 miles per week and only use running shoes for running, and typically go through a pair of running shoes about once a year (I do wear them a little longer than recommended), but I had two pairs of the Adizero Bostons and while they were decent shoes, both of them fell apart in less than a month, with the entire bottom sole separating from the rest of the shoe on them. The shoes themselves looked practically new when they were worn out other than this. The Adizero Boston is the only one that has done this, I've worn so many others over the past 15 years or so from different brands, lower and higher quality (I've gone as low as cheap shoes I've found on clearance at Sears to high end ones that have to be bought at specialty running stores), and usually they only wear out when they start to look bad.

I didn't use the Boston before the 12 but from what I understand they were totally redone. I have gone through 4 pairs and after 500+ miles they still look surprisingly great. One of my favorite all around shoes.

I'm about 290 miles in my Boston 12s and no issues. Have held up well. Ive been looking for the next sale on em to get another pair.
I see the EVO SL women's in a similar colorway to OP's post for $64. Not able to size up in my size. The 13's are $84 right now so I'll hold for a bit.
