You can. Only the J hooks are mounted on the wall. The frame is just held by the hooks and is removable. It can be repositioned for a dip configuration.

I would stay away from this unless you are very light. A lot of reviews mention bolts and screws breaking, and with only 4 screws holding it up seems a little sketchy

If you mount this to wall, you cannot do the push ups shown in the picture. Unless you are a Spider-Man. It's also impossible to do dips after mounting this to wall.

Cool design, but not practical if you are doing set of exercise.

I have one of these from a different brand, same exact concept. For less than $100, you will not find a more functional piece of equipment. I'm 6'2" 195 lbs and have had no issues with weighted dips and pull-ups up to a 45lb plate. Although I do expect to break it eventually, it has been solid for 2 yrs now. I also really like the ability to add cables and pulleys for accessory work.

How easy is it to reposition for different uses? I'm struggling to see how it's EASILY multifunctional from pics. And the video in Amazon doesn't show that

You can take it off the hooks and flip it around. The only thing attached to the wall are the hooks that hold it up. Those have to go directly into studs for strength.

I have a different brand, but same exact item. I mounted a piece of plywood to the wall, and then mounted the J hooks to the wall using stronger/longer screws from Home Depot. I've been using it for 3 years without an issue.
If you're new to pullups, you may want to think about getting a pullup assistance strap to use too. Just don't be discourage and try it every time you walk by. You will be surprised how quickly you can start doing more.

Not really sure how well this will work for dips, but this looks like a great multi-function equipment piece to put in my office.

If you have the space, just get a $150 cage that will be much more stable and more functional or a $100 range pullup stand, also pretty stable. There are million brands of the same wobbly product out there, I got very lucky with a random brand that turned out to be much more stable. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6NOXX4 no longer on sale but you can look for one or new version or something. This was $150 for me.
