This seems like a perfectly fine adapter, not much different than any number of similar products in the same $10 price range. It's been out long enough it's not the fastest charger you can get, but it's more than enough for Apple/Samsung/etc. phones.

Thanks I was thinking about it but I'll probably pay 50% or double for either Belkin or Anker. I am more concern with fire hazard and electrical shock than longivity.
