About this Collection:
  • Seven-disc set includes:
    • A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984) Ginsu-gloved dream demon Freddy Krueger makes his debut in Wes Craven's classic slasher. The line between nightmare and reality is shattered when child murderer Krueger terrorizes the sleeping teens of Springfield, seeking revenge against the kids of those who killed him years earlier. With Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon, Johnny Depp (his first film), and Robert Englund as Freddy. 92 min. C/Rtg: R
    • A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1986) A teenage boy moves to Elm Street and soon becomes a pawn in the supernatural schemes of frightful Freddie Krueger. Ripping good horror yarn stars Mark Patton, Kim Myers, Hope Lange, and Robert Englund. 87 min. C/Rtg: R
    • A Nightmare On Elm Street, Part 3: Dream Warriors (1987) Just when you thought it was safe to go back to bed... fearsome Freddy's back, and he's tormenting the dreams of some troubled teens under the care of the girl who survived his first rampage! Robert Englund, Heather Langenkamp, Craig Wasson, John Saxon, and Patricia Arquette (her film debut) star. 96 min. C/Rtg: R
    • A Nightmare On Elm Street, Part 4: The Dream Master (1988) The biggest cut-up in horror films returns! Fiendish Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) has come back for revenge on the kids who "killed" him one film earlier, turning their dreams into deadly nightmares. Lisa Wilcox, Rodney Eastman co-star; directed by Renny Harlin. 93 min. C/Rtg: R
    • A Nightmare On Elm Street, Part 5: The Dream Child (1989) For the young people of Elm Street, the nightmare never ends! Once more Freddy returns from the grave for revenge, focusing on the dreams of the unborn child of the one girl who can stop him (that's right, a pro-life horror film). Robert Englund, Lisa Wilcox, and Kelly Jo Minter star. 90 min. C/Rtg: R
    • Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991) Razor-gloved ghoul Freddy Krueger "finally" goes to his grave for good in this frightfest, but before he does he's going to take the town of Springfield and his own daughter with him! Robert Englund, Lisa Zane, Yaphet Kotto star, with cameos by Tom and Roseanne Arnold, Alice Cooper, and Johnny Depp. Not in 3-D. 96 min. C/Rtg: R
    • Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994) Freddy Krueger jumps from the reel world to the real world in director Wes Craven's diabolical return to the "Nightmare on Elm Street" series. A series of terrifying dreams leads to horror for actress Heather Langenkamp and her family, and talks with fellow "Nightmare" alumni Robert Englund, John Saxon, and Craven (all playing themselves) convince her that Freddy has come to life. 111 min. C/Rtg: R Widescreen; Soundtrack: English.

I'm not surprised by your comment if it's not almost free or a price mistake you people do nothing but complain on this site. This set was over a hundred dollars when it released and I paid $99.99 in 1999 for the dvd collection so it's a slick deal. And the second one wasn't one of the better ones 1,3,4,7 are and you don't watch a the nightmare series to be scared you watch to see what imaginative dream sequences Freddy is going to get you in or what crazy line he going to say.

Because we have been around long enough to remember actual SLICK DEALS.
$70 should be the MSRP for this collection. We are talking $10 a movie here, which is a terrible deal. Yeah I think they're mostly worth $10 a piece once you average it all out. But, again, that would be the standard price I'd want to attach to it. Part 5, 6 aren't worth $10. Even $5 for Part 6 is pushing it 😂
A SLICK price for this collection would be around $35. $5 for each movie. And, yet again, that's factoring in 5, 6.
I know we always say we don't have a Time Machine so there's no use saying what a blu ray used to go for in a Slick Deal. But $5 is slick. Always has been the bar for me. Black Friday used to roll around and you could get so many blu rays for $5. There's no reason anyone should pay any more for this ULTRA HD nonsense. If anything, these older movies look worse with a better picture!

I own these film and this is the best they have ever looked and I owned them on every format.and the reason you pay more for 4K content and hardware cost more due to
higher production, storage, and streaming bandwidth requirements, which can be up to three times that of HD. Producing 4K requires advanced, costly technology like HDR and superior audio, along with more complex, multi-layered physical media manufacturing. Additionally, 4K is positioned as a premium, niche, or collector's item, allowing manufacturers and streaming services to charge higher prices for the increased data.

I'm sick of you guys telling us how much you think something should cost.4k has always been premium content and if you think it cost to much then don't buy it no one is forcing you to,

I just checked at GRUV: price for the set is $80 and the code I found gives 15% off. That brings it down to $68.

I've never watched any of them because scary movies give me anxiety. I wish I didn't get so scared, but it's just the way I am.
