Bought these on a deal before. The batteries were depleted before I needed to use it a 3rd time and the readings were inconsistent when it still worked.

The AstroAI Digital Tire Pressure Gauge uses a total of 4 batteries:

3 LR44 (or AG13) batteries - These power the LED lights for the backlit display and illuminated nozzle
1 CR2032 lithium coin cell battery - This powers the pressure readings and main functions

It will cost a STUPID amount of money over its life in batteries. Many others manage to only need the 2032 for both pressure and lighting.

They make a model that uses 2 AAA, but no sale/coupons for a similar price. Still probably a better bet over time.

have one, trust me, this is the worst of the worst. batteries last no time, takes the lr44 that most don't have around and it's an utter pita to open change and stuff all the wires to close again. it's a piece of garbage, and should be tosses as such or avoided if you're lucky. get one that takes AAA and has a battery door.

I have two T300 Etenwolf gauges with AAA batteries. First unit accurate to 0.1 psi using metrology equipment up to 120 psi. Gauge is off by about 1 psi around 32 F. Second gauge is within 0.1 psi of first gauge. No need to check further.

Popped in two free yellow top AAA HF batteries from 2016. Gauge still working after one year.

Yep, totally agree. The battery didn't last long even for occasional use.

I've notice with the coin batteries for devices that if You leave them in, they somehow draw power from the battery. I have at least 5 different coin battery remotes & as long as I slide the coin out a little bit the battery life increases 10-fold. I can't remember the last time I changed the coin batteries on all of the remotes I have.
