Too gimmicky. Made thousands of omelettes and never once thought I'd be better off with some tiny bespoke trough to make it in.

I have the 4-egg version of this and it works very well. The only caveat is you need a smaller spatula to get the eggs out. We use the Oxo cookie spatula for this pan.

I have the 4 egg version as well, and I often use it for making pancakes.

Same, I also have the 4 egg version, I do spray it with a bit of cooking spray and eggs slide right out. Mine came with a small silicon spatula. Actually thinking I should have gotten this version instead as I sometimes want to warm up some ham or spam slices.

Reviews say it's too small. Anyone have this and can comment on size?

I guess I will be the first...

I believe that egg is a extra large egg due to the size of the yoke.

It's a 4in diameter so you can be the judge if that's too small for you. It's perfect for like sandwiches bagel/mcmuffin.

Do you ever cook pancakes in it? If so how is it for that?

I have a similar 4 egg version I got cheap on Amazon and we use it every single day to make McDonald's McMuffin. Get the Great Value frozen sausage patties and it's an exact replica. Several family members have bought them as well. Ours is over a year old and still doing well but might pick this one up.
