If Nintendo made it, sure. But do you feel like the existence of a 3rd party Mac mini cooling fan dock means Apple did a bad job engineering the thermal management? No. Anybody can make a cooling fan and claim it increases performance. This is probably a gimmick.

I'd want to see evidence the switch 2 is actually overheating. This is a gimmick that seemed to start during the 360 era. This will prob hinder cooling over helping.

Gimmick ALERT most of these periferials draw power from the device making it hotter and using more battery. So unless you plan to use it while plugged to an outlet; I would skip.

However, in docked mode running at 4k output settings...it gets really really hot. The screen, the back, pretty much everywhere.

Granted, it did not have an overheating message or shut down, but after only about 30 minutes of play...shouldn't be that hot.

i have this exact fan but for the steam deck. it does an impressive job of reducing GPU temps by as much as 10-13C at max speed, but good god is it noisy af. i use headphones when this fan is running, at anything other than the the lowest speed
