I bought the Pro 2 because of the nostalgia. It feels quite awkward in the hand if you're not used to the playstation style controller; the diamond pattern on the yxba buttons also mess with muscle memory. Would recommend the Ultimate over the Pro if you're used to the XBox layout

its the same layout of a SNES controller and you can literally move the buttons and change them even in software
Has anyone used this in Retroarch and was able to configure the back buttons or the L4/R4 to do things like fast-forward or anything besides mimicking other buttons already being used

Switch to Dinput and connect with Bluetooth. SteamInput allows you to configure the back buttons and the L4/R4 buttons to keyboard or anything else. Xinput doesn't allow additional buttons.

I was posting a quick review in case anyone was undecided between the Ultimate or Pro. People with larger hands may also find this controller more uncomfortable than the Ultimate

I am not using Steam. Also can you do it with the dongle my PC doesnt have bluetooth plus i keep seeing its has more lag with bluetooth. I know you can still put it into Dinput with the dongle

2.4ghz dongle only works with Xinput. You'd have to be wired to connect it through Dinput.
