I would say this is 100% way to go if you need most of these tools.

If you're working with this for a living then yes maybe you want a 7-1/4 but for home use or just doing projects this circular saw its great. I've seen guys that work in framing that prefer these since they are lighter to carry around. But to each their own.

Some people (myself included) prefer the atomic for the smaller size and lighter weight. Yes, sometimes that means there's more plastic but they are very capable tools and nearly as good as the XR.
