Went to Home Depot and it took customer service to find their palette shipment still up in the rafters. They fork lifted it down and I was able to walk out with the same $499 in store price as found online.
The drill & impact driver are the atomic small size ones (good for tight spaces). The other tools are brushless and XR (extended run). The case has wheels (HD reviews says the plastic wheels are prone for falling off & the case isn't water tight).
All in all it is an excellent value saving hundreds off buying the tools individually. Going to hid an airtag in the case it case it goes wandering off while I'm doing projects.
Question because the product details don't list XR or ATOMIC for the circular saw, anyone know if that's an oversight or it's a brushed tool hiding in the otherwise brushless combo?
Dewalt's site does explain XR vs ATOMIC for those who aren't familiar with these terms: https://support.dewalt.
Edit to add: ok found the saw model on HD website and it is badged MAX (which Dewalt says is brushed) but it also says brushless in the spec. Why this isn't badged XR or ATOMIC then I don't understand. Here's the saw tool-only link that says it is brushless https://www.homedepot.c
