I'm surprised this deal isn't getting more attention. I know there's been a lot of deals for Dewalt at HD recently, is this just not as good as others? Was thinking of buying a set since I have their portable vac and dril with a couple batteries.

Honestly a great value for a great starter kit for a DIYer or homeowner. Even future handymen won't need more than this kit in terms of power tools.

Interesting mix of Atomic, XR and Max tools here. Not a bad deal but not great either - pretty standard sale price.

This is a pretty sick kit for a new homeowner or someone just buying into an 18/20v system.

Maybe it is a bummer to not have some form of sawzall, but honestly that's a less essential tool in my mind. If you are planning to do a ton of demo and remodel work, you probably have skills and tools already and aren't buying a starter kit.

Plus corded ones are dirt cheap If you end up needing one. (Although the same could be said about the sander or angle grinder…both of which I'm ok with having corded).
