I immediately pre-order this when I heard that it was coming out. It's an amazing transfer and looks absolutely fantastic. I was shocked at how good it looked. Arrow is coming out with their version soon, but this is definitely a worthy pick up as well.

I'm holding out for the Arrow version, as they're usually a bit better picture-quality wise, but Shout has been doing a good job with this Hong Kong Cinema Classics line.

With "some" of its HKCC stuff. Chinese Ghost Story as 1080 only? Swordsman Trilogy only has the first (and worst) entry as a 4k disk? Weird.

I have this digitally on AppleTV when the collection was on sale. I still haven't seen it… wonder if I'd want to own this physically as well and how much a difference visually and audio.

I preordered the arrow version too. Just because I love this movie. If the picture quality is better I'll be shocked. This one looks incredible.

$51 for one movie, that too from 1992, is high.
Each to their own I guess.
