Can you use this to add Google/Alexa support to existing MyQ ? In other words, keep MyQ for whatever reason and also have this in parallel?

hopefully this deal might force some to realize how easily there wi-fi enabled garage door [installed 2013 or later] is to program; thereby allowing them to utilize OEM's app [likely with 3rd-party app support for google/alexa, i.e. Amazon delivery drivers]

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the MSG150, based on the product link, look like it's a newer version with expanded compatitbility? Note the Amazon listing indicates it's frequently returned.

I had this all working nicely with Google Home and could close the door easily with my phone locked using "Hey Google" and Google Assistant. Now I've switched over to Gemini, and it is requiring that I have my phone unlocked in order to close the garage door via voice command.
