I already have myQ. Is it worth it to switch for smart feature options?

Nah. This is only worth it if you're current garage door lacks Wi-Fi connectivity.

Both my garage doors are dumb openers, so I purchased two of these so that I could remotely open/close via app

When your myQ breaks go ahead and switch to a better option. For now, stick with it.

I am switching from myq to this. Want to do more with home automation. Was on edge between this and using a shelly switch. For the price this has everything.

Don't you have to pay subscription for myQ? if you do, seem worth it to switch to stop paying subscription

Just FYI, this is their older version which requires a wired contact sensor to determine the door status (open/closed). The MSG150 is supposed to integrate better with Chamberlain doors and security+ openers to provide status without the wired sensor.

I bought this recently and have myq. Mainly because I wanted home assistant integration. I still have myq hooked up too but it's a backup now.

You don't have to pay to use the myq garage opener in the app, but I also don't care about the alerts or whatever else it gives you if you pay.

Can you control 2 doors with 2 units reliably yet in Apple Homekit?

I think only if you want Homekit integration.

I don't pay a subscription. It works and integrates well with ring app. But myq app is crappy. Will switch when myq breaks.
