I don't think you added the promo code, it worked for me.

Does anyone know how long the lifetime is, The "days" light spec doesn't help.. Like how many hours they can stay lit on/off with motion before having to recharge, because most of the time on / off motion also eats battery compared to just 3-4 hours continuous life. This is my main complaint with any / most of these chargeable lights. They just don't last long. With this being smaller, I assume it also has smaller battery. Honestly 3-4 hours is still pretty bad, I plan to put them on the stairs.

Does anyone have suggestion for wired low voltage system that I can plug in behind the stairs? I have a little room under the stairs that I can drill small holes to attach wired light strips but most I found don't come with motion sensor. Anyone tried IKEA's system?

No way these batteries last longer than a couple weeks even on auto sense and minimal usage. The charger is a nice feature though.

I have a similar item, not the exact same model. But what happens is the battery dies after a couple weeks and then you forget to charge them for 2 months until one day you realize they haven't been working. Then you recharge them and repeat the process.

Thanks for the feedback! You saved me $18, so I'd say that qualifies as a Slickdeal 😄

I bought these in 2020 and they work well. Battery lasts a long time with the sensor. Not sure how long but definitely months not weeks. Not sure if it comes down to how thin the lights are and the battery, but there are some out there whose battery will last a while with motion sensors. Granted I may not use the lights as frequently as others. One set is in a closet under my stairs, so they're being used pretty infrequently. https://a.co/d/08hJdoSb

Simple solution to this problem is to Velcro/Dual Lock one of the 15 power banks you have lying around & connect it to the light so it lasts way longer & then forget to charge that too.

Haha. Or set a calendar reminder to charge them. I've done this with a lot of chores. Helps me know if it's recycling week or not.

I have this. The lights work fine, and the battery seems to last a long time. There is one design flaw with these lights that annoys the heck out of me. The buttons are on the same side as the USB C plug. Every time the light runs out of battery and you plug it in to charge, it lights up as soon as you plug it in. Well, you then have to unplug it to get to the power button to shut off the light so you can plug it back in to charge.
Actually, make that 2 design flaws. The USB C is not centered, so it's hard to line it up right since you're pretty much doing it blind.

The led strip market sell 12-24v motion pir sensors. Sometimes it's not plug and play and you have to know how to wire/ solder. There's even some wireless PIR sensors.

I charge mine once a quarter but not the same brand. I have them in the bathrooms as motion light. Stairs are different.

IMO these are good for closets and small pantrys. Under cuboard lighting is not great. They need charged a lot if you have an active kitchen with dogs and people.
