Fair and Good were gone around 9am for me. So I got an Excellent one. The shipping label was created about 30 minutes after ordering, so after looking at the tracking data of where it was created, I'm gonna assume it's coming from a store somewhere in my state.

I'm fully expecting it to be a dud lol. But it's worth a shot anyway!

Oh, and Best Buy changed how they grade their open box stuff 2-3 years ago. It no longer matters if it includes the box/accessories. It goes off the condition of whatever the item is. It's still a mixed bag (especially in more recent times) if the items condition is properly checked though

In theory, yes. But that's not always the case. Which is why store pickup for any open box item is preferred. Cause if you buy something that's supposedly 'Excellent' and it isn't, they'll usually knock the condition down to 'Fair' or 'Good'.

Sometimes you can luck out though and get a 'Fair' or 'Good' that is in like new or even new condition. I've seen a ton of success stories on the TV side. Where people have bought a 'Fair' condition TV and it's basically brand new with minimal hours, still in the box, plastic on the screen, all accessories included

There were no stores available so I had to choose shipping. The thing is I guess it would be hard to convince that that its not excellent unless accessories are missing. Do you think if you chose shipping, any store would change it to good condition and refund the difference?

edit: nm, cancelled order email almost immediately after confirmation.
