Not sure if you noticed but Best Buy system is completely F@#K'd. Chat support and phone support is completely useless and the stores aren't much better. I returned an open box excellent OnePlus 12 that arrived in terrible condition. Went to the store and they refunded me without any issues or restocking fees.

That's why I asked, online CS just reads a script and is outsourced. You have to go to a location for "what actually happens"

finally. had a couple of cancelled orders and never got one to process until the price increase. luckily, got them to honor the price but was a mission to do so. just adding in as a data point for anyone that had cancelled orders but really wanted the phone still.

Awesome! That's what I've been trying to do but chat says they don't have the ability to... What did you do? Chat/phone or in person? It has been brutal trying to get any help from customer service 😔any help you could give would be much appreciated

trust me, i know how hard it can be. i spent probably 4 hours total on the phone and even went to a store at the direction of virtual salea dept. first, try to get to primary care when you call in. from there, specify you want to do a price honor not price match. whether thats a thing or not, not sure but thats what reps told me and i finally had luck with. i provided my original order that got cancelled automatically at the lower price and the new order at the higher price. they have to do a request to their back end team but i got 1 credit processed already and im trying one more for my wife. good luck and hopefully you don't waste close to the time i did.

Gotcha, ok so you actually placed the new more expensive order first? Then afterwards you called and got them to switch the orders basically for them to honor the canceled order? If so, I'll do that as soon as it's back in stock.

essentially. they sidnt switch the order but rather credited the difference.
