I got one years ago when it first launched as a replacement for my Z2Force. When you drop the phone the odds of it cracking are significantly higher than a normal phone because of the curved exposed edges. That was the very first phone I owned that I managed to crack even with a case.
The price is outstanding but I would advise against it if you drop your phone alot of work in a rugged environment.

This is a cautionary note for anyone considering carrier-sold devices: if you're comfortable buying a phone at a lower price in exchange for the carrier installing software that may collect data and monetize it over the long term, then these cheaper carrier deals may be acceptable for you.

Used used to mean it was "used" and had condition grades. Then there was "refurbished" which also had grades but meant some effort was put into making the product ready for market again.
What is this "open box" with grades non-sense?

The real issue is either the CPU or the UFS 2.1 storage; I'm not completely certain which, but the phone feels noticeably sluggish, even compared to lower‑tier Snapdragon chips like the 6 Gen 1. This is true even after I removed all the bloatware using ADB.
My guess is that the performance problem is about 70% due to the CPU. Although the 7400 scores well in benchmarks, it just doesn't perform smoothly in real‑world use. The remaining 30% is likely due to the UFS 2.x storage, which is slower than UFS 3.0 and above (though still much better than eMMC).
