This product is awful, I tried for 3 weeks to teach my poodle to zip up this screen door but zippers just aren't pet friendly!

I have one of the versions of this that peals away from one side without the bottom lip thing. as another commentor said it looks like a hazard, i honestly love the thing. being able to keep the door wide open and the little pup just pushes out and in is very nice

Wouldn't happen if people don't drag their feet like zombies.

Installed this one exactly in my catio about 2 years ago - definitely not scratch proof - has lots of tear damage from my cats

We have this same one on one of the guest bedroom's doorway. When my daughter goes on vacation we get custody of her pug and cat. Her cat can have an open door but be secure from my cats until she's ready to come out (usually takes 2-3 days). None of the cats are aggressive, but my daughter's cat is always scared the first couple of days. This really works well.
When it's not in use we just roll it back and tie it with a curtain tie. No one really uses that room much, so it's not in the way. If you would be using the room... yes, it could be a tripping hazzard! But if you need something to block off/or keep in, a pet from an area of the house, this works well.

I tried one of these. It only lasted a few months. Cats LOVE to climb this thing, and when they do, they will puncture little holes into it. They dont do it to our screen doors, but they love this thing. One cat comes up to it and clawed the hell out of it, more than the rope areas on the kitty tower. Within 2 - 3 months, they made enough holes at the bottom that they were able to squeeze through the holes.
