Agree there is a lot of junk that keeps redownloading. Like spam Chinese game apps and stuff but we have a BYOD program and the 2024 moto flip has been my work phone (work in healthcare). Have a iPhone 16 pro as my personal. It's been great for Epic Haiku and works decent. I don't think their UI is on the same level as a Pixel, Nothing or Samsung phone but is sufficient
I have owned both the 2024 and 2025 plus models, and minus the software updates (3 vs 4 years, respectively) and the slight change in hinge there wasn't much of a difference for me. I definitely would not have upgraded had I known how little of a difference there was, but if buying now, if software updates are worth $60 extra bucks for you, it might be worth it. Can't really lose either way for $220 and $280. Same processor, same form factor for the most part, and similar cameras.
The specs of the Razr+ 2025 are very similar to the Razr+ 2024. In fact, the 2025 model uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is slightly less powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 used in the 2024 version. Because of that, the $220 deal for the Razr+ 2024 seems like the better value overall.
The main advantage of the 2025 version is the longer software support. However, that may not be a major factor since most people tend to replace their phones within a couple of years anyway.
