How does this compare to the recent $150 deal?

Considerably worse--that deal had the full size brushless hammer drill and impact driver (both next to most recent gen, not latest), plus a third tool e.g. mid-torque impact wrench, and a 2A and 4A battery. But that was an insane deal.

Also those that were in that 3pc deal were the max type.

I wound up taking this set back and brought the stand alone 1/2" brushless drill that was $58.05 along with that 3pc deal I got the brushless grinder with the impact and hammer drill. figure the grinder will make my life easier and faster to sharpen the blades on all my mower decks this spring.

It usually does for me, but I see it's not applying to this one in the cart or at checkout.

I bought this, the impact driver sucks. It drives the screw around 1/3 of the way in then pauses, then goes again.

I am returning it and getting the bigger version for $160.

thanks for sharing your experience.

i was planning to get one, because i thought i might need the smaller size to drill and install some door sweeps on the bottom inch of the door.
The ridgid hammer drill i have worked; i had to put the drill completly upside down on a piece of cardboard on the floor and slide the dril into the door to make the hole.

I'm still sad about missing it. I got these separately for $57 each so I saved like $5 while getting an additional charger and separate storage bags for both. Thought it was an amazing deal but looks like it was pretty standard. That Bosch deal coming back would be incredible
