Seems like a good price. Home Depot has the bare tool with no battery for $4 more. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../315146191

I just bought one without battery for $195 on Amazon. It's still that price right now. I'm guessing $80 for a 9ah battery is decent deal, but if you've got a bunch of batteries from other buys, it's probably not worth it.

Battery prices will keep going down. Tech is moving from Lithium Iron Phosphate to Sodium Ion. This is more of a lateral move with safer and cheaper materials.

$80 for a 9a flexvolt and charger is a great deal, at least to me. The 2-packs of the 9a flexvolts are usually ~$200

9ah battery is worth ~$100 on it's own. Add the charger if you need it at ~$30. Means the tool is $145. You decide if the tool is worth that.

IMO this is the best battery trimmer out there, and the weight distribution on it is excellent (up close to your body) compared to the 20V versions.
