What's up with all these sudden Open Box Pixel "deals "

This is not even a good deal Anyway for a return most likely ..I don't care what the amateurs at Geek Squad claim is the condition

Especially because Best Buy's condition ratings are usually arbitrary. I've gotten "excellent" products that are completely broken.

Tensor G5 is completely a joke. Three years old snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is faster.

I could care less about the performance. But these phone cellular performance is much worse than snapdragon

I got one in IL, got open-box good condition for $569 + tax.
Ensured to open-box in store, removed the ESIM for T-Mobile which showed up. They said it may be added as part of testing in geek squad. Double checked in developer options that it allows to unlock bootloader.

just in case, it helps - open box unlocked devices wont have $45 restocking. Restocking fee applies for items which are to-be activated on carriers.

I had to argue with a manager to get the restocking fee removed on an open box return.

You guys should select the pickup and inspect the device before purchase. It was almost new condition.
