Too bad this is $70 for Switch 2. Would have been nice to play on the go.

Sucks that Nintendo charges us on both the hardware and the software side for their version of next gen performance, vs Xbox where you generally get a free upgrade/optimizations on Xbox One games to Series performance.

Even my PS4 game Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth got a free upgrade to the PS5 version.

I guess Nintendo didn't get the memo.

Very good game but don't go in expecting Mario Kart.
Mario Kart feels much easier for a casual pick up and play but this is more like a fast paced arcade racer.

After many years of having it free in my xbox 360 games with gold library I finally played sonic all stars racing transformed. I liked the variety of courses and vehicles. I liked it better than Mario kart 8 . Haven't played crossworlds yet but if it's at all similar to the racing transformed I'll buy it eventually

This is the closest it's been to its lowest price since Black Friday, when Walmart had PS5, Xbox, and Switch physical copies for $30.

Amazon has been dropping the PS5 price every day for the last few days. $45, $40, $39, $35, and now $31.55 since Feb 1. Will it reach $30?

This might be my buy price, simply because it's fun and I want to play it now while my friends are still playing it.

That's publisher dependent. One example that comes to mind is One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 for Switch. That one has a free upgrade for NS2. So in this case, it would be SEGA Upcharging and not Nintendo in particular.

It hasn't been released yet for Switch 2, it shows that on the order page. So obviously it won't be on sale.

Thanks for the calendar update, Captain Obvious. My point isn't about when it releases, it's about the fact that I have to buy it twice. On Xbox, 'Smart Delivery' means the upgrade is free regardless of the release date. I'm complaining about the 'Nintendo Tax,' not the release schedule.

Try reading the whole comment next time.

Definitely not defending Nintendo and it's practices, though that's an exception to the rule of a traditional consumer retail market. Most movie, music, and games don't go on discount before they are released. I'm sure they will have a sale once it is released. If it was obvious to you then it should have been mentioned in your post. Sorry, didn't mean to come across that way.

No apology necessary. Just be a circle in a square world.
