Buyer beware. The seller vipoutlet sold these devices on their eBay store saying that they were network unlocked. I bought one but it was network locked. Many buyers mentioned in the reviews they had received locked phones.

I've gifted this model to my mom, as well as kept one for myself as a media/gaming device from the QVC $70 bundle for 2 phones.

I'd give it a 3 out of 5.

Screen is 120hz, it charges fast, has SD slot and 3.5 jack. The fingerprint scanner on the power button is responsive, having 8gb ram and changing my animation times to .5x makes it feel really snappy.

Gaming can be hit or miss - It handles Wild Rift (League) at 120hz on medium settings just fine. No screen tearing, it's smooth. BUT there have been more than a handful of times when I'm in the loading screen before a match starts and the entire screen will turn white and show static lines - it won't go away by itself. I'll have to quickly press click the power button to turn off the display, and if that doesn't work I'll then force a restart with volume + power buttons.

It can also run Where the Wind Meets on the lowest setting, but it's super choppy. Screen tears and input lag. Haven't had the screen go white while playing where the wind meets, but also because I've only opened that app 2-3 times.

I've also bought from Vipoutlet more than a handful of times now, their QA can be hit or miss making it feel like a gamble at times. I'd recommend seeing if your local bestbuy has any available, they usually have a few in stock. A quick bestbuy search shows they start around $110 unlocked/open box, but if you're willing to spend $110 you can def find better options

Edit: included pic of it being annoying again, crazy white screen with static lines appeared again while playing wild Rift - had to perform hard reset

I'm trying to edit my post to include information that commenters have given me. I've only bought once from VIPOUTLET and had no issues with the quality of the item I got. I know people either love or hate them, it seems.

Depends on where you want to trade in - for example buy an iPhone 7 for $56 from Vipoutlet/eBay, then you can trade in at Samsung for $300.

Prepaid branded phones shouldn't affect trade in value, as long as phone is not locked and accounts removed

Bought this on the eBay deal and like many others, received a carrier locked phone.

I bought this phone as a stand in phone until I bite on something else. It is what it is for the price. I don't care about the camera and that's good because it's awful. Battery life is great, video and sound is great. It can lag from time to time when too many things are going on and also every now and then gets wanky when opening. For the price I'd say it's great as long as you remember that when it has its shortcomings

I recently got a Moto G Play 2026 from Tracfone for $60 as my backup phone. It's a decent little phone for the price. It has half the RAM that the Moto G Power has, and I've been on the lookout for an unlocked Moto G Power deal if it's a good one.

Do I want a better phone? Yes. Am I still using this phone, yes. My brother gives me crap that I alone is keeping Motorola in business. Personally I love the pixel but I can't justify the price for what this phone does

It's crazy to me what people are willing to spend on smartphones. I personally don't have the money for the latest and highest spec'd model (or want to spend the money if I had it). I like the A line of pixel phones. Good value for money, great cameras, and a nice clean Android layout.
